I spent about 10 weeks in Japan in 2002, learning Japanese. Another great thing to do in Japan besides learn the language is to buy manga! One of my first purchases was a copy of Love Hina, and so my first real drawing done in Japan was a picture from Love Hina. I had to improvise some of this picture, as the reference I was copying it from included a very nervous Keitaro. I had fun experimenting with the two-tone style, too.
